The Manberg vs Pogtopia War took place on November 16, 2020 in an attempt to take back L’Manberg.

Wilbur, now completely insane, promised Tommy that if they didn’t win this war, he would blow up Manberg since he strongly believed that if he couldn’t have L’Manberg, no one else could. After the events of the Manberg festival, many citizens defected to Pogtopia to take down Schlatt, including Quackity, Fundy, and former L’Manberg traitor, Eret, even though he wasn’t even a Manberg citizen. When Dream heard the news that Eret sided with Pogtopia, he took away his kingship and passed it to George.

Pogtopia would fight against Dream, George, Sapnap, Punz, Karl and Purpled, since Dream always opposed Wilbur’s L’Manberg and preferred Schlatt’s Manberg. Before going to war, Techno took the Pogtopia group to a secret room, which at first worried Wilbur, Tommy, Tubbo, and Fundy thinking it would end like the Final Control Room with Eret, but Techno actually showed the maxed out armour, weapons, and potions he had prepared for them. The group was still worried since Dream kept threatening them with the idea of a traitor in the group, making everyone wary of each other but they still continued to get ready to fight.

Moments later they met with the opposing side in Manberg, the fight quickly breaking out and Pogtopia going up the towers to shoot from above. After fighting for about five minutes and not a clear sign of victory, Dream talked to Wilbur in private, telling him to meet in the Camarvan where Schlatt was. Wilbur passed the news to the group and led them to Schlatt, where Schlatt sounded clearly drunk and out of breath. They cornered him in the van and started insulting him, confronting him for his poor and awful leadership skills. Wilbur commanded for Tommy to hold Dream’s stolen crossbow between Schlatt’s eyes, ready to kill him. Schlatt didn’t fight back, only asking if anyone smelled burnt toast and dying from a sudden heart attack.

Celebrating their victory, Wilbur appointed Tommy as his successor but Tommy turned him down, instead passing it to Tubbo. Tubbo accepted and gave a speech as the rest of Pogtopia cleaned up L’Manberg. As they were cleaning, Wilbur snuck off to the TNT room where the button to blow up L’Manberg was. Philza logged on the server for the first time, meeting Wilbur in the room, asking what he was doing. Meanwhile, Techno expressed his anger with Pogtopia for taking down a government, only to replace one tyrant with another. Dream’s side started fighting Pogtopia again and they noticed Wilbur’s sudden disappearance. Dream revealed that the traitors were Wilbur and Techno and that he had given Wilbur the TNT. He had also made a deal with Wilbur to blow up L’Manberg no matter the results of the war.

As Pogtopia was fighting Dream and Techno, Wilbur pressed the button, blowing up L’Manberg, calling it his unfinished symphony, forever unfinished. Shortly after, he asked Phil to kill him. Phil refused to comply but gave in to Wilbur’s wishes, killing him with the diamond sword Wilbur had given him, and losing his last canon life. Meanwhile outside the room, Techno spawned three withers, making the crater in L’Manberg much worse. Helplessly fighting the withers, Techno fled L’Manberg after killing multiple members with his rocket launcher crossbow from the Manberg Festival.

The chaos eventually died down, the citizens of L’Manberg already planning a reconstruction of the nation. Tommy and Tubbo promised to take down Dream and Techno one day.

With this concluded the Manberg Rebellion Arc that Wilbur Soot had written. Wilbur stated that he would be stepping down as a writer for the Dream SMP for a while but his character would still be around as a ghost.
