The Yankees have one of if not the best history in sports history in the world. They have won 27 world series, won the AL pennant 40 times and won the AL East division 19 times, which are all MLB records.

Stadiums:

The Old/Original Yankee Stadium: 1923 to 2008. The stadium hosted 6,581 Yankees regular season home games during its 85-year history. It also hosted the New York Giants (NFL) team from 1956 through the first part of the 1973–74 NFL season. The stadium was built from 1922 to 1923 for $2.4 million ($345 million now a days). This was the Yankees first stadium as the ony other stadium's they've had was Polo Grounds(shared with dodgers) and New Yankee Stadium                     

The New Yankee Stadium: 2009- present. Yankee Stadium is a baseball park located in the Bronx, New York City. It is the home field for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball (MLB) and New York City FC (MLS). The stadium cost $2.3B and is the second largest stadium in MLB by seating capacity. It is located one block north of the original, and is basically a replica of the first Yankee Stadium.
